Privacy Policy

Effective July 21, 2026 · A clear explanation of how Pixelion treats your files and information.

Privacy at a glanceSelected files are processed locally. Pixelion does not require an account and is not designed to upload your files to Dotsilicon Limited.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Pixelion desktop application and the official Pixelion landing page provided by Dotsilicon Limited.

2. Local file processing

Pixelion processes selected files locally on your device. The application is not designed to upload those files to Dotsilicon Limited during normal conversion, resizing, batch processing, or PDF creation.

3. No account required

You do not need to create an account or provide personal information to install and use Pixelion’s core features.

4. Information you provide

If you contact Dotsilicon Limited for support, send feedback, or make a voluntary contribution, information you provide is used only to respond, provide the relevant service, maintain necessary records, and meet legal obligations.

5. External services

Pixelion may open external websites for downloads, updates, support, contributions, or project information. Those services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.

6. Website information

The website host may process standard request information needed to deliver pages securely and reliably, such as an IP address, browser information, request time, and diagnostic records.

Download links record the button location, time, referrer domain, and pseudonymous hashes derived from the IP address and browser information. This is used to measure downloads, distinguish likely automated traffic, and prevent abuse; raw IP addresses are not stored in the download tracker.

7. Data sharing

Dotsilicon Limited does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only with service providers needed to operate official services, when you authorize it, or when required by law.

8. Retention and security

Voluntarily provided information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose, recordkeeping, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no method is completely secure.

9. Your choices

You may use Pixelion’s core features without an account. You may choose not to contact support, contribute, or follow external links. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information previously provided, subject to applicable requirements.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated when Pixelion’s practices or legal obligations change. The latest version will show its effective date.

11. Testimonials and opinions

If you submit an opinion, we store the name, opinion, optional contact details, and social-profile links you provide. Submissions remain private until approved. Approved testimonials may display your name, opinion, and submitted social links publicly; mobile numbers and email addresses are never shown publicly. Contact details may be used to send a thank-you message and prevent abuse.
